Meet Bart. Short for Barton. This fella’s name comes from the address of the legendary Texas music hall “Armadillo World Headquarters” located at 525 1/2 “Barton” Springs Road. The Armadillo building was actually a National Guard “Armory” before it was a venue. Don’t be fooled by the bicycle though… Bart is only peddling Texas pride on his way to the “Dillo.” You see, the reason the address is 525 1/2 is because the Armadillo WHQ is behind the “Skate Palace.” Everyone knows Bart likes to skate next door even though he gets run-over from time to time by the Roller Derby gals!
